What are Sports injuries?

Often injuries can result from poor training practices or improper gear. Some people get injured when they are not in proper condition. Not warming up or stretching enough before you play or exercise can also lead to injuries. Common sports injuries are sprains and strains, knee injuries, swollen muscles, Achilles tendon injuries, shin splints, fractures and dislocations.

To reduce the risk of injury:

Plan to have at least 1 day off per week from a particular sport to allow the body to recover.
