Hair is an important part of our appearance. Wouldn't it be wonderful if every day was a good hair day?  Here are some secrets of beautiful, healthy and strong hair:

Massage
Massaging the scalp will do many things for your hair. It improves the circulation and brings out the natural oils.

Tie it up
For strong hair you must train the hair muscle. Each strand of hair has a muscle in the root. Tying up your hair helps to strengthen your hair. If you tie your hair up high when you are not used to it can be painful. This is how you know you have over worked your hair muscles.

To brush or not to brush
Avoid brushing your hair while it's wet.  Wet hair is stretchier and has a tendency to break.
Don't over brush! Over brushing breaks off hair, use a wide-tooth comb and don't tear through the tangles. Comb from the ends to the roots of your hair. This method will prevent the strands of your hair from breaking. If a person with strong hair over brushes, it would make their hair shiny because brushing brings out the natural oils from the roots of hair, which makes the hair naturally softer.

Keep it natural
Look at using a natural remedy. A mixture of ½ a cup of coconut oil, 2 egg whites and honey so the mixture is in a paste-like texture.
Massage this into your hair from the roots to the ends. Wait for one hour and wash it out well.
Don't over clean your hair. Washing it every day will dry your hair. When you wash your hair everyday the shampoo strips the natural oils of your hair.

Water is key
Drinking plenty of water is essential. If you are dehydrated you are likely to have drier hair. This makes the hair less likely to build up in strength.

Absorption
Look at your absorption. If you are not absorbing the vitamins and minerals from your foods this will impact on your hair quality and strength. The only way you can know this, is to go to the doctors and get your bloods done or go for an allergy test.  When you know the full picture you can look at taking a multi vitamin/mineral, or focus on a particular mineral. Silicea, zinc, MSM, amino acids and omega 3’s are al very important for strong hair.
